We found the heating system a bit frustrating as it wasn't on continuously, leading to a chilly room when we needed to shower. Parking arrangements were not clearly communicated, as they were in a separate location, causing some confusion. I struggled with the long WiFi code, which was cumbersome to remember.

The room had a charming old-fashioned vibe, and everything was clean and well-equipped, making it cozy after a day of exploring. I appreciated the ample supply of milk portions for tea and coffee—it's a thoughtful touch that made my stay more enjoyable.

The bathroom light was broken, so showering involved using flashlights for two days, which was less than ideal. The heating was another hassle. it only worked for two hours twice a day, leaving the room pretty chilly when it was time to freshen up. The bed felt a bit worn out, and the lack of sufficient wardrobe space made it awkward when unpacking. Lastly, parking arrangements weren't clearly laid out, which added to the inconvenience of settling in.

The Riverbank Guesthouse is perfectly situated just a short stroll from downtown Inverness. Our cozy room was clean, equipped with fluffy towels, and provided a lovely tea and coffee setup. We truly appreciated the lovely walk along the river and felt welcomed by Jason, who was always available for questions.

While the bed was comfortable, it felt slightly worn out, which didn't greatly impact our sleep quality but was noticeable. the shower could have used more thorough cleaning, but this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise pleasant stay.

It was just a good match for a brief weekend stay in Inverness with best value. I loved the big fluffy towels after a shower. Check out some local pubs. they have great food nearby.

A lovely touch was the Tunnocks Teacakes and the pack of love hearts waiting in the room upon arrival. The location is convenient, just a short walk to key sites, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. the shower’s water pressure was disappointing, and the check-in instructions could be clearer for first-time guests. The bed, while comfortable, felt slightly worn, affecting overall comfort.

Clean, compact room with a great selection of teas and coffees. Super easy walk to the city centre with many bars and restaurants within reach. A cozy vibe added to the overall experience too.
